In the age of startups and solo entrepreneurship, finding support for your ideas requires building relationships and a forward-thinking, sustainable network. This workshop is designed to help people establish a strong professional network by reflecting on their current relationships and blueprinting the network of their future. You will have the opportunity to share your ideas and receive feedback from the group, and maybe find an ally or friend to add to your growing network.

About the instructors:

Marina Spindler is a network builder and strategic advisor in both for-profit and non-profit arenas. She is an expert in building global partnerships and cross-sector alliances. For over 12 years she led the Group of Fifty (G50) — identifying and recruiting the most successful business leaders and entrepreneurs from the Americas. A sought-after consultant and change management expert, Marina has advised important social ventures including Participatory Budgeting Project (NYC), Orchestra of the Americas (DC), Blockchain Education Network (Global), Code for Venezuela (NYC Chapter), Plantsss (Chile), and PACEMD (Mexico).  www.marinaspindler.com


Marianne Aerni facilitates culture, change and innovation. She has recently run programs for clients in the beauty, pharma and finance sector and established her own quarterly workshop series to build community and connection in a solo- entrepreneurship environment. She has previously worked with the design consultancy Fjord, and lead workshops at A Better World by Design conference by Brown University, the Harvard by Design Conference, Behance's 99u Conference and the Pioneer Mode Conference at the BFDA New York.  www.aernimarianne.com
